Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
At tachbook we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what control you have over it.
Who we are
tachbook is a pilot logbook and aircraft management service operated from Chile. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].
What data we process
- Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We use the email to identify you and authorize your access.
- Flight data: the records you enter or scan —dates, aircraft, hours, routes, remarks— and the logbook photos you upload.
- Management data: for shared aircraft, the account movements, dues, bookings, hour transfers and maintenance that are recorded.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (pages visited, activity date) to operate and improve the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service: store your logbook, compute hours and balances, show your data.
- AI features: when you scan a page or ask your logbook, we send that content to an AI provider solely to process your request. It is not used to train models.
- To communicate with you about your account (invitations, service notices).
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Where it is stored
Your data is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure (database and file storage). Access to Google is done with your consent via OAuth; we do not store your Google password nor keep credentials to access your Google Drive beyond what you authorize when you run a backup.
Your rights
- Access and export: you can export your logbook and account to Excel or PDF, or back them up to your own Google Drive, at any time.
- Rectification: you can edit your records from the app.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and data by writing to [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with its date.
